Alan McCluney, a full time potter for over 20 years from Bangor, Co. Down, also works from his studio in rural County Leitrim. His work is known for being remarkably thin, yet durable enough for careful Dishwasher loaders! Each piece is unique, both in shape and the unpredictable flowing glaze finishes that he has developed.

His Work graces many homes across the globe and was chosen for Ambassadorial gifts by the British Ambassador to Thailand, and he was one of the first Artists selected to create work for the Seamus Heaney Homeplace.
